Disclosure statement

This statement has been designed to satisfy the requirements set down in the Investment Advisers (Disclosure) Act 1996.  The Act came into force on 1 October 1997 and is intended to provide increased protection for the New Zealand investor and promotes a higher level of professionalism within the financial services industry.

About Hannah McQueen 

Financial Services Experience
Hannah has been in the financial services industry for the past 10 years, 3 years specialising in money and mortgage management and residential investment advice which followed her 3 years as one of Auckland’s top specialists in the area of Asset & Tax Planning.  Previous to this she was with KPMG for 4 years as an auditor.
Hannah is a Director of enableMe Limited and has been in this capacity for over 2 years.

Qualifications/Professional Memberships
Hannah has a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Taxation Law (with honours) from Auckland University.  Hannah is a Chartered Accountant and a current full member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, being bound by the association’s Code of Ethics and Bylaws. 
Winner of Young Accountant of the Year 2008 – Northern Region and finalist in the New Zealand Young Accountant of the Year 2008.

About Hema Patel

Financial Services Experience
Hema has joined the financial services industry following 4 years of extensive experience in the commercial arena as a business analyst and finance manager and 4 years with KPMG as a business services adviser.

Qualifications/Professional Memberships
Hema is a Senior Consultant with enableMe Limited.  She has a Bachelor of Commerce and Diploma of Commerce (Taxation) from Auckland University.  Hema is a Chartered Accountant and a current full member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, being bound by the association’s Code of Ethics and Bylaws.

About Anne Marks

Financial Services Experience
Anne is a Senior Consultant with enableMe Limited.  She joined the financial services industry following 8 years with Deloittes and Ernst & Young specialising in tax consulting, and 11 years experience in financial management and commercial roles with a variety of corporates and arts organisations.

Qualifications/Professional Memberships
Anne has a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Law, and Post Graduate Diploma in Arts Administration all from Auckland University. She is a Chartered Accountant and a current full member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, being bound by the association’s Code of Ethics and Bylaws.

About Maxine Yule

Financial Services Experience
Maxine has recently joined enableMe following four years of business advisory experience in Public Practice Chartered Accounting firms, most recently at BDO Wellington.  She has experience in taxation, trusts and re-structuring work.  Her previous roles include Agricultural Specialist (American Embassy), Policy Manager (Federated Farmers) and Associate Director (Vision Manawatu).

Qualifications/Professional Memberships
Maxine has a Bachelor of Business Studies (Economics) and a Graduate Diploma in Business (Accountancy) all from Massey University.  She is a Chartered Accountant and a current full member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, being bound by the Institute’s Code of Ethics.

About Rebecca Robertson

Financial Services Experience
Rebecca has worked in business advisory for chartered accounting firms for over 7 years and has recently joined the financial services industry.

Qualifications/Professional Memberships
Rebecca has a Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours majoring in Marketing and Accounting from the University of Waikato.  Rebecca also has a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance and a Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management.

About Mark Greer

Financial Services Experience
Mark has been in the financial services industry for the last three and a half years since graduating from University.  His experience includes a little under 1 year with First NZ Capital Securities as an assistant to the Financial Controller and three years working in Public Practice Chartered Accountancy firms, Staples Rodway and Deans & Rees Limited, where he was a Client Manager.  His skills lie in the area of taxation and asset planning as well as business structuring.  Since purchasing a rental property, Mark maintains a strong interest in property investment and has a strong understanding of all facets of property investing.

Qualifications / Professional Memberships
Mark is a Senior Consultant with EnableMe Limited and a Senior Accountant with enable Business Limited.  He graduated from University in Christchurch with a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (Taxation) with an A Average over 4 years.  He is a Chartered Accountant and a current full member if the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, being bound by the Association’s Code of Ethics and Bylaws.

In the last 5 years none of the enableMe Consultants have been:

  • Convicted of any crime involving dishonesty
  • A director of a company that has been convicted of such an offence
  • Adjudged bankrupt
  • Prohibited by an Act or a court from taking part in the management of a company or business.

Remuneration

Remuneration received includes the costs involved in firstly acquiring then dispensing advice together with items such as office, staff, marketing, travelling and personal remuneration. 

Investment advice may be given at a predetermined charge stated by enableMe at the commencement of any discussions.  enableMe is eligible to receive commission, bonuses, and non-monetary payments from Product Providers in relation to the sale of such products.  Such income methods and rewards do vary from time to time.  Commissions may include an initial payment on placement of business together with on-going commissions and other financial advantages.
